Mask and Ask is a great new game from Drumond Park that is based on the very popular game called Who Am I? We all know that Who Am I is a fab game family times, silly times and parties. Mask and Ask is just as fun but with masks. You all look very silly which makes the game even funnier.
This game is for 2 to 4 players and the recommended age is 7+ however I do think children from an older 5 upwards would be fine to play it as well.
Whats inside the box?
- One double-sided playing board
- 4 different coloured pairs of glasses
- 4 different coloured playing pieces
- 30 double-sided masks
- Reminder tokens
An example of the masks
The glasses that the masks clip onto
Before you start to play the game you have to decide if you want to play the animal side of the human side. One side of the masks have animals on them and the other side has humans on them, such as a Police woman, princess, queen, Fireman and many others. Once you have decided animals or humans/people you have to set the board up the right side either humans or animals. The masks are then placed face down so no one can cheat and see what they are choosing. Once you have chosen your mask they clip onto the glasses provided. I must say the glasses are made of plastic and are great for younger children as they almost can not be broken. The arms bend both way so they would be very hard to break off. Once you all have your masks on each player takes it in turn to spin the spinner and move around the board. When you land on a certain square you can then ask that question to another player. The other players can then only answer yes or no. The yes and no reminder tokens are then placed on each square to remind the player of the answers given. The winner is the person who guesses all 3 of their masks first.
The fact you have the board with the questions on is great for younger players. they do not have to think of their own questions, which for the younger ones could be quite hard.
I have to say this is a fantastic game and I know at Christmas this game is going to be played with over and over again. Due to having a big family the game could also be adapted for more players. So you could play without the board and ask you own questions. Not everyone would be able to wear the mask on the glasses but there would be ways around that. We absolutely love this game. Such a fun game to play with the children OR adults on their own.
RRP of this game is £16.99 and I think that is well worth the money. For more information stockist please visit www.drumonpark.com
